Avery Weigh-Tronix Weighline™ Railroad Track Scale

Avery Weigh-Tronix Weighline™ Railroad Track Scale

Model: WLS-TD/WLS-FD

The Weighline rail scale is designed to provide rail car weights quickly, safely and affordably. The Weighline rail scale is rugged and accurate, with accuracies of ± 0.25% or better. It can weigh rail cars either statically or in motion, at speeds in excess of 50 mph and has OIML R60 and R106 certificates of conformity. Standard systems provide an axle capacity of 80,000lb (40,000kg) and are suitable for weighing maximum car weights of 320,000lb (160,000kg).  Each individual rail section measures 5'10", has a capacity of 40,000lb (20,000kg) and is pre-drilled to accept standard rail joint bars or compromise bars at installation. Weighline sections are available in rail sizes from 85 lb to 175lb.  *Note: Scale capacities are determined by weight capacity or restrictions for a specific rail profile. The ZM605 Indicator is recommended. A multi scale input card is required to weigh in Full Draft mode. Weighline specific static weighing software to go between full draft and two draft weighing is supplied at no charge.
