The grain dump module is used with Avery Weigh-Tronix steel or concrete truck scales to create a complete scale system for grain handling or processing facilities. The Grain Dump section has an easy-flow grate designed to allow trucks to weigh and dump over a BridgeMont truck scale quickly and easily. The module is available in 10 and 11 foot widths. The truck scale system is trade approved and hard wearing, able to stand up to harsh agricultural environments. Each module comes factory assembled for quick installation. The grain dump modules are constructed of heavy steel tubing frame and checkered steel deck plate for superior strength.CategoriesTruck Scale, Truck Scale Module, Truck Scale Accessory
Concrete decks typically provide improved traction and are more resistant to corrosion in wet conditions than steel deck truck scales. This weighbridge has a composite design – only the top half of the deck is poured, allowing the concrete to stay in compression and resist cracking. Tension forces are handled by the high-strength steel structure below the concrete. All BridgeMont truck scales are also available as a multi-platform system, providing accurate axle weighing plus a legal-for-trade gross weight in a single action. Truck scales that are configured for one-stop axle weighing combine multiple independent scales in a common foundation and are designed to accommodate the vehicle’s axle spacings. Avery Weigh-Tronix vehicle scales utilize the Weigh Bar; an extremely rugged, highly reliable, load sensing device that is designed to overcome the shortcomings of many competitor load cells. The unique, patented design provides inherent strength and overload protection, while also providing accuracy and high reliability. All Avery Weigh-Tronix truck scales/weighbridges come backed by industry leading warranty options to ensure a low cost-of-ownership.
The BridgeMont BMS-HD is also available with extra-long, 25 ft length modules which allows more room on the scale for longer vehicles. For example, a 75’ truck scale consists of only 3 modules and 8 weight sensors, making it a cost effective choice by limiting the number of foundation piers that are required versus competitive offerings that limit up to 20ft. With a wide variety of capacities and sizes, up to 135 tons, this vehicle scale can handle a wide range of trucks and configurations. Our vehicle scales utilize the Weigh Bar. It is an extremely rugged, highly reliable, load sensing device. Accordingly, it is designed to overcome the shortcomings of many competitor load cells. The unique, patented design provides inherent strength and overload protection, while also providing accuracy and high reliability. All Avery Weigh-Tronix truck scales come backed by industry leading warranty options to ensure a low cost-of-ownership.
The BMS SD truck scale suits applications with moderate traffic and axle loads up to highway limits. This steel deck vehicle scale is cost effective without compromising on quality. The BridgeMont truck scale design uses a sandwich steel construction and WeighBar load sensors for outstanding strength and reliability.
Avery Weigh-Tronix portable scales go anywhere there is an immediate need for on-site truck weighing — mining and timber operations, road construction, asphalt facilities, quarries or construction sites. They can also quickly fill the gap when other scales fail. Avery Weigh-Tronix Portable Truck Scales installs in just 2–4 hours on any stable surface, including: bridge planks, concrete piers or blocks, a concrete slab or swamp pad. The self-contained modular sections eliminate costly site preparation. Each section incorporates built-in Weigh Bar® weight sensors, robust sub-frame with large pier assemblies, and dedicated conduit runs for fast setup and tear down. Nowhere is structural integrity more critical than in a portable truck scale. The ability to provide accurate measurement under extreme environmental conditions, frequent moves and heavy loading requires exceptional strength and engineering. Avery Weigh-Tronix Portable scales meet the challenge with sandwich steel construction: a checkered steel deck, supported by full-length structural steel members and stabilized with a complete bottom plate. 100% continuous welding throughout the structure seals it against moisture and premature corrosion. In a three-year study on, the Weigh Bar exhibited failure rate of just 0.3% – compared with a national industry average of 3 to 5% for load cells. To add to the overall reliability, all Weigh Bar cable is sheathed in stainless steel and internally routed through steel conduit for superior protection against moisture, wear and rodents. When a temporary need turns into a long-term application, there’s no need to purchase a new scale. All models of the BMS-P can be readily converted to permanent, low-profile truck scales.
The BM LP8 low profile truck scale is an ideal replacement scale for worn out scales on existing foundations. Its high strength and extra low profile design (11” – 14” elevation) make it an easy fit to replace other brands of truck scale.
