Rice Lake's 680HE hostile environment weight indicator is made to withstand the unique demands of corrosive environments. Ideal for the agriculture industry, fertilizer production and transfer, as well as other applications with a high concentration of corrosive substances such as chlorine, the 680HE uses an FRP enclosure and IP66 rating for the highest level of protection. The bright 2.5-inch, six-digit display makes it easy to view weight from a distance in any lighting condition. The large display size and local/remote capability give the 680HE the option to be used as a secondary display. Configure display color as red or green for enhanced visibility that best suits the application. The 680HE supports multiple communication options for connecting to multiple devices such as printers and PCs. The full numeric keypad makes tare entry easy, and four digital I/O points are available for basic weight based control of interfaced equipment.
The Rice Lake 682 Synergy Plus Series digital weight indicator is an advanced solution with the simplicity of a basic weight indicator. The durable 682 Synergy Series indicator is constructed with 304 stainless steel and has an IP69 ingress rating to stand up to high-pressure, high temperature washdowns found in food processing and other environments. The 682 indicator has a bright five-inch color LCD screen and configurable softkeys for an interface that is easy to use. The 682 indicator comes standard with advanced communications to take on a wide range of applications. Connections to external devices and networks are available through RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports, USB, Ethernet, fieldbus, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. This digital weight indicator also has a built-in web server for easy remote monitoring and process control. The 682 indicator has an integrated truck in/out mode specifically designed for vehicle scale applications. This mode stores the transaction after each weigh-out with truck ID, gross, tare and net weights. Transactions may be printed or cleared at any time.

At just under five inches deep, the efficiently designed enclosure fits easily into compact spaces with DIN-rail clips to make mounting quick and effortless. The 880’s modular design enables the display to be remotely mounted, especially useful for instances when it is inconvenient to mount the controller on a conventional panel. The intrinsically safe, auto-ranging power supply enables wiring to a single AC conduit line and seal from the safe area. An FM approved, rechargeable battery is also available for isolated power or movable applications. The 882IS utilizes a backlit LCD display to maintain brilliant visibility for user-friendly operation, even in dimly lit areas. Its stainless steel enclosure provides superior protection from the elements. Expand flexibility with an optional safe area I/O Module, featuring a serial port, Ethernet TCP/IP and optional analog output or fieldbus cards for communication with printers, computers and other peripherals. A duplex fiber-optic port allows for electrically-isolated communication with the I/O Module.
