Remotes are transmitters that send the measurement data to a Base.  Remotes are powered by an external power source (i.e., AC adapter) and are typically used to transfer measurement data from digital gages and RS-232 devices such as height gages, scales, etc.  Remotes are used when you do not need the mobility of the Mobile Module transmitters. MobileCollect supports a wide range of digital gages and RS-232 devices from manufacturers including Mitutoyo, Mahr Federal, Ono Sokki, Fowler, INSIZE, Starrett, Sylvac, Ohaus, Mettler Toledo, etc. The Digital Remote is used when you have a digital gage in a non-mobile setup that you want to connect to the wireless system.

The Wedge/USB Base receives measurements from Mobile Modules and Remotes. Connects directly to a USB port on a PC or laptop.  It is powered by the USB port. MSI ScaleCore Webserver is a network interface with a built-in web-browser allowing remote monitoring of your scale system from virtually anywhere. Communicate with any combination of up to seven devices and any MSI ScaleCore based scale or weighing instrument equipped with Wi-Fi modem. Operators have the option of viewing individual scale weights or easily summing several scales together. This makes the MSI ScaleCore Webserver ideal for applications utilizing multiple pick points in a lifting application or for viewing individual tank leg values for load cell mount kits. MSI ScaleCore Webserver can operate as its own wireless router or be used in conjunction with an existing wireless network to connect with each weighing device. A tiered login for supervisors and operators will help simplify operation by protecting critical functions and settings not used in day-to-day processes.
